Let the Games Begin!

So, week 4 of the Wynn Summer Classic came in like a showstopper! A bunch of fresh faces took home some bling, while a few old-timers showed they still got it. Oh, and there was that zany hand at the final table that will have everyone buzzing for days!

The Big Showdown

The highlight reel this week was the $3,500 No-Limit Hold’em Championship, which totally smashed its guarantee and racked up a jaw-dropping prize pool of $5,467,350. Colombian sensation Sebastian Toro Henao snatched victory from Georgios Tsouloftas in a thrilling heads-up battle. Toro Henao bagged a whopping $908,139 but not without a wild three-way all-in drama he watched from the sidelines.

Sitting on the Edge of Your Seat

When the smoke cleared, it was Toro Henao holding the trophy high, walking away with a big smile and a bigger paycheck. Among the talent that strutted their stuff included Roberto Romanello (37th), Nicholas Seward (31st), and Jared Jaffee (9th). It was a battlefield out there!

Turbo Takeover

Shout out to Justin Lapka, who scooped up the gold in the regular $1,100 NLH Turbo event. With 206 players in the mix, they almost doubled the expected prize pool, reaching a fabulous $200,850! Lapka claimed $47,036 after knocking out Dimitrios Gkatzas Blagoevgrad in epic heads-up action.

Turbo Champ!

Meanwhile, Martin Schroeder dazzled the crowd in another turbo showdown, bagging the same $1,100 NLH Turbo title after shoving through a field of 173 players and cashing in $41,283!

Upping the Ante

And what’s this? One of the quieter stars of June 13 was the quirky $2,200 6-Card PLO event. It drew a solid crowd of 92 players and walked away with a juicy $182,620 prize pool! Sameer Batra took home the lion’s share after a friendly deal made with his heads-up opponent James Jagger.

More Winners!

After flying through six Day 1 flights and thrilling two days of action, Mihai Manole emerged victorious in the $1,600 No Limit Hold’em event, pocketing $431,474, thanks to a hefty prize pool of $2,615,470. Zheming Zhu settled for second, earning $283,699.

Senior Stars

And how about the seniors? The $5,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em event, which attracted a solid 182 players, ended with a dramatic chop, leaving Michel Abecassis and Kenneth Fishman each with $167,209. Fishman now crosses the million-dollar milestone in live tournament earnings!
